Current Job Openings

The purpose of our internship is to aid students in learning the specific functions of various positions within the finance industry.  We accomplish this by positioning students in support roles assisting Financial Assistants who support our Financial Advisors. Under supervision, interns will service the Financial Assistants by gathering product information, performing research, assist with administrative responsibilities, prepare reports for client reviews, gather data and information from databases, service clients and prospects by answering the telephone, handling non-investment questions and the intern may also have the opportunity to sit in on client meetings or perform specific project research.

We look for students who are in their junior year, majoring in Finance or Economics and are able to work 35 hours a week throughout the summer.

The Trader handles all aspects of general trading for the Firm in addition to supporting Sr. Traders with Investment Advisory moves. (S)he responds to inquiries from sales representatives and firm personnel regarding trades, securities and administrative procedures. Under supervision, services portfolios in accordance with objectives of investments programs.

The ideal candidate will have strong PC knowledge; relevant college degree or equivalent work experience; Series 7 and 66 licenses required; prefer at least 2 years industry experience, but may consider a strong candidate with less experience.

This role is responsible for facilitating the integration and maintenance of technological systems across Hefren-Tillotson. The responsibilities include enhancing the current systems and continue to improve them, acquiring a full understanding of the systems and how they work together, developing and executing training for company employees, and providing on-going support and guidance to employees and clients with regards to technologies both internally and externally on the client website. This person will work closely with product managers (i.e. including systems like Salesforce, Tamarac, eMoney, Portfolio Builder and Zoom) to identify upgrades/enhancements, new features and training needs. Obtaining the CFP Designation within the first 3 years is preferred to become an Advisor in the future with Hefren-Tillotson.
