Barron’s Ranks Hefren-Tillotson Advisor Among America’s Top Financial Advisors

PITTSBURGH Hefren-Tillotson, Inc. executive vice president and financial advisor Kurt Carlson has been named to Barrons 2015 Top Advisor Rankings in Pennsylvania.Carlson_2014

The list of distinguished advisors was produced by Barrons after conducting extensive research, surveys and interviews, and weighing factors such as advisors assets under management, revenue generated, quality of service and regulatory records.

Hefren-Tillotson is proud to count Kurt Carlson among Barrons top advisors, said Kim Tillotson Fleming, Hefren-Tillotson Chief Executive Officer. Kurt epitomizes the high caliber of advisor whose integrity and client-focus has made him one of the best in the industry, and helped Hefren-Tillotson become one of the most respected firms.

Carlson joined Hefren-Tillotson in 1990 and consults with individuals in developing comprehensive financial plans and strategies to achieve their goals in the areas of investments, insurance, retirement, estate and tax planning.

He is also active in Hefren-Tillotsons Asset Management Group, helping to guide and formulate overall investment strategies for the companys fee-based clients. Carlson is a CFP practitioner, a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder (CFA) and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary Auditor (AIFA). He received a Bachelor of Arts in financial planning from Grove City College.
