Mike is a Financial Advisor at Hefren-Tillotson, Inc. He is an Investment Advisor Representative with series 7 and 66 securities licenses. In working with clients, Mike believes in Hefren-Tillotson’s comprehensive MASTERPLAN approach to help him better understand each client’s unique situation. Mike enjoys building relationships with clients, helping them to start planning their financial goals, hearing about the first things they do in retirement, and all of the things in between. In addition to his work with individuals, Mike also partners with the Hefren-Tillotson Corporate Services team to provide retirement plan consulting and management solutions to businesses in Western Pennsylvania.
Mike was raised in northeastern Pennsylvania but has roots in the southwestern portion of the state as most of his family is from the Armstrong county area. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Management Information Systems at Grove City College and an MBA from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to joining Hefren-Tillotson, Mike spent 25 years with United States Steel Corporation, the last 10 years of which were involved with the company’s retirement programs.

Mike resides in southern Butler county, living near Saxonburg with his wife Patty and their sons Jackson and Brady. In his spare time, Mike enjoys golfing, being involved in the community’s youth basketball programs, and spending time with family and friends.
