Maggie is a fully licensed financial advisor and Senior Vice President with Hefren-Tillotson, Inc. She provides her individual and corporate clients with the highest degree of personalized service and advice in the areas of retirement planning, portfolio management, estate planning, and insurance. The main focus, in her day-to-day operations is to help her clients become and remain financially independent. A driving focus in her practice is to earn and then remain her client’s most trusted advisor.
She joined the Hefren-Tillotson team in November of 2000. She holds Series 7, 63 and 66 licenses as well as licenses in Life, Health and Accident Insurance and Long-Term Care Insurance. She works with clients throughout Pennsylvania and 9 other states. Prior to joining Hefren-Tillotson, she worked in financial planning and insurance at Prudential Insurance for three years.
Maggie currently serves of the board of directors for Gwen’s Girls, an organization serving at-risk girls and young women - and The Pittsburgh Society of Investment Professionals – helping professionals to network and grow, while maintaining a consistent charitable presence in and around Pittsburgh.
A native of Pittsburgh, she and her husband Albert have two daughters, two sons and three grandchildren. The Kanaan’s live in Arnold, a small town in the Allegheny Valley. Her passions include cooking for family gatherings, reading, gardening and painting.
