Joseph Grunwald is a First Vice President with Hefren-Tillotson, Inc. In working with his clients, Joseph utilizes Hefren-Tillotson’s comprehensive MASTERPLAN approach to help them achieve their goals in the areas of investments, retirement, tax and estate planning. He also partners with Hefren-Tillotson’s Corporate Services department to provide retirement plan advisory services as well as financial planning for executives and business owners.
Joseph is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, an Investment Advisor Representative, a Registered Representative, and a Licensed Agent for Life, Accident and Health Insurance. Prior to joining Hefren-Tillotson, Joseph was an advisor with TIAA-CREF in their Pittsburgh Office for 13 years. At TIAA-CREF, his focus was to help those in the academic, medical, governmental, research, and cultural fields reach their financial and retirement goals.
He also has extensive experience in employee pension and benefit plans through his employment at both the University of Pittsburgh and West Penn Allegheny Health System. He completed his undergraduate work at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance.
As a resident of Upper St. Clair, Joseph enjoys golfing, fishing, and spending time with his wife Judy and three children, Mitchell, Stephanie, and Eric.
