Jason Hitchman is a Vice President and Financial Advisor with Hefren-Tillotson, Inc. In working with his clients, Jason utilizes Hefren-Tillotson’s comprehensive MASTERPLAN approach to help them achieve and maintain their goal of financial independence. At Hefren-Tillotson, Jason specializes in comprehensive financial planning, estate planning, retirement transitions, and investment management.
Prior to joining Hefren-Tillotson in 2011, Jason worked for CooksonPeirce where he was a Vice President and shareholder. At CooksonPeirce, Jason was responsible for managing private client relationships and directing the firm’s financial planning practice. Previously, Jason worked as the Director of Financial Planning for First Commonwealth Financial Advisors and as a financial planner for The Ayco Company, LP and KPMG LLP.
Jason graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business. Jason continued his education and obtained his Juris Doctorate with a concentration in estate planning and taxation from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1999. Jason currently holds the Series 7, 66 and 65 securities licenses. As well as Life, Accident and Health Insurance licenses.
Jason is a life-long resident of the Pittsburgh area and resides with his wife and two young children in Murrysville. He is active in the community. He is currently on the Board of Directors of The Union Mission in Latrobe, PA and The Westmoreland County Historical Society. He also serves as a committee member on Cub Scout Pack 184 in Monroeville.
