Jason Harrison is a Senior Vice President with Hefren-Tillotson, Inc. Since joining the firm in 1998, Jason has partnered with Kim Tillotson Fleming, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hefren-Tillotson.
As a fully licensed financial advisor and insurance agent, Jason helps their clients realize their financial goals through estate, retirement, education and tax planning. Jason is also dedicated to providing the highest level of service to every client. Most recently, Jason was among a select group of advisors to receive the FIVE STAR Wealth Manager Award as chosen by client feedback and published in the July issue of Pittsburgh Magazine.
Prior to joining Hefren-Tillotson, Jason began his financial career with Mellon Bank’s broker-dealer, where he specialized in executive stock options for Pittsburgh based companies, such as Alcoa, Heinz and U.S. Steel.
Jason is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance. Jason has earned the Accredited Investment Fudiciary Analyst® (or AIFA®) professional designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies/University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business. He has received formal training in investment fiduciary responsibility.
Jason is active in several community and nonprofit organizations. He is a member of the Board of Visitors, Finance Committee and Investment Committee of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC); Treasurer of the Board of Magee-Womens Research Institute and Foundation and current Chair of the Finance Committee. Jason’s community involvement also includes being a member of Aquinas Academy Board of Directors, LiveLikeLou.org Advisory Board, United Way of Allegheny County’s Young Leaders Group and member of the Pittsburgh Society of Investment Professionals.
Jason resides in the northern suburbs of Pittsburgh with his wife Vanessa and two sons, Hunter and Chase.
