David Riehl is a Vice President with Hefren-Tillotson who works closely with individuals, business owners, and institutions to develop holistic financial plans tailored to their specific needs. David believes the most important component of a successful financial plan is working with an advisor who clearly understands your specific goals and cannot just advise, but partner with you to achieve them.
Whether developing retirement income strategies for individuals through the Hefren-Tillotson MASTERPLAN®, consulting with business owners on the best way to save for the future, working with non-profits to protect their endowments or advising employer retirement plans on how to best help their employees, David is committed to the long-term success and wellbeing of his clients.
David is a Partner of the ERA Group of Hefren-Tillotson, which takes a team approach to financial planning and investment management providing their clients with the highest level of service and expertise. The ERA Group also includes Senior Vice President Jack Ellenberger, CFP® and Associate Vice President David Alderson.
David is a CFP® Practitioner and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®). He proudly upholds the ethical standards set forth by the CFA Institute, as he exercises loyalty, care and prudent judgement while placing the interest of his clients before his own. He is a graduate of Saint Vincent College having earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Economics; he remains involved with his alma mater serving as an Adjunct Professor of Finance.
David enjoys being involved with various non-profits in the region, proudly serving on the boards of Jeremiah’s Place and CASA of Westmoreland, in addition to the United Way where he is an active member of the Tocqueville Society. David and his wife Ashleigh, are parishioners at Calvary Episcopal in Shady Side and they reside, with their children Harvey and Lenora, in Wilkins Township.
