David Riehl is a dedicated Associate Vice President who works closely with individuals, business owners, and institutions to develop holistic financial plans tailored to their specific needs. David believes the most important component of a successful financial plan is working with an advisor who clearly understands your specific goals and cannot just advise, but partner with you to achieve them.
Whether developing retirement income strategies for individuals through the Hefren-Tillotson MASTERPLAN®, consulting with business owners on the best way to save for the future, working with non-profits to protect their endowments or advising employer retirement plans on how to best help their employees, David is committed to the long-term success and wellbeing of his clients.
In 2016, David partnered with David Alderson to form the Alderson-Riehl Group. Their team approach to financial planning and investment management provides their clients with the highest level of service and expertise.
David is a CFP® Practitioner and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®). He proudly upholds the ethical standards set forth by the CFA Institute, as he exercises loyalty, care and prudent judgement while placing the interest of his clients before his own. Prior to joining Hefren-Tillotson in 2011, David worked for JPMorgan Chase in Columbus, Ohio. He is a graduate of Saint Vincent College having earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Economics.
David, his wife Ashleigh, and their children Harvey and Lenora reside in Churchill, PA. In their free time, the Riehl’s enjoy exploring the Laurel Highlands, cheering on the Pirates at PNC Park, and spending time with family and friends.
David is an active member of Saint Peter’s Parish on the Northside and enjoys being involved with alumni at Saint Vincent College. David can often be heard providing a recap of the markets during the afternoon drive on 1020 KDKA.
