Brian Knapp has been a member of the Hefren-Tillotson team since 1991. Mr. Knapp is a CFP® practitioner for Hefren-Tillotson, Inc. As a Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor with the firm, Brian specializes in helping both corporate and individual clients achieve their financial goals in the areas of investments, retirement, estate, insurance, and tax planning.
Prior to his work with the firm, Mr. Knapp spent sixteen years in retirement plan administration and was an investment trustee. He is an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).
Mr. Knapp’s commitment to community service is demonstrated by his involvement in numerous organizations. Brian served as a Councilman and President on the Saxonburg Borough Council for over 26 years; he also serves as an officer on the Ellen O’Brien Gaiser Addiction Center and has served on the Board of Directors of the Endowment for Butler County and the Morraine Trails Council of the Boy Scouts of America Executive Board.
Brian Knapp earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington and Jefferson College and received a Master’s of Business Administration degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Brian is a lifelong resident of Butler County. He has two sons: Kyle a 1996 graduate of the United States Naval Academy; and Josh, who attended the Pennsylvania State University in State College. Brian also enjoys spending time with his two granddaughters.
In his free time, Brian enjoys hunting, sporting clays, fishing and golf.
