Ben Montgomery is a Senior Vice President with Hefren-Tillotson, Inc. Mr. Montgomery has been a member of the Hefren-Tillotson team since 2005. He is dedicated to comprehensive financial planning and enjoys working closely with individuals to help them reach their financial goals through retirement analysis, investment recommendations, insurance strategies, estate planning, and tax planning.

Ben is a CFP® practitioner, an Investment Advisor Representative, a Registered Representative, a Licensed Agent for Life, and Accident and Health Insurance. He completed his undergraduate work at Allegheny College, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Managerial Economics.

Ben gained valuable experience early on in his career while working as a Senior Financial Planner in Hefren-Tillotson’s Financial Planning Department. In addition, he can often be heard on NewsRadio 1020 KDKA providing the afternoon stock quote report, as well as the “Ask the Advisor” segment of Hefren-Tillotson’s “Your Money & You” on Sunday mornings.

Ben, his wife Courtney and their children Anna, Kyle, and Owen reside in Mt. Lebanon, PA. Active in the community, Ben and Courtney teach Sunday school and serve on the board of the Child Care Center at Christ United Methodist Church in the South Hills. Additionally, Ben enjoys coaching youth sports.
