Matthew S. Snider is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional with the full- service wealth management firm of Hefren-Tillotson, Inc. In addition, Matthew is a General Securities Representative NASD/NYSE as well as a licensed agent for Life, Accident and Health Insurance. Since joining Hefren-Tillotson, Inc. in 1999, Mr. Snider has worked exclusively within the "Meredith Group" – led by Jim Meredith, host of "Your Money and You," heard on News Radio KDKA every Sunday morning. Matthew’s responsibilities at Hefren-Tillotson have included introducing Hefren-Tillotson’s investment advisory services, managing workflow within the Meredith Group’s team of advisors, and working closely with clients of the overall Group. Today, Matthew Snider is a full-time advisor within the Meredith Group, and enjoys helping to advise clients on retirement planning, insurance protection, estate strategies and wealth management. Prior to joining Hefren-Tillotson, Mr. Snider worked as an actuary assistant for a large insurance company. From there, Matthew was offered an opportunity to join a money manager in Rockville, Maryland as an Investment Manager Assistant. It was there that he received his Registered Paraplanner designation from the College of Financial Planning. Matthew graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a major in Mathematics. In addition to providing sound financial advice, Matt is involved in his local community and is an active participant in his church. Matthew Snider enjoys staying physically active by competing in marathons, including the well-known Boston and New York Marathons. Born and raised in Greensburg, PA, Matthew maintains his residence in his hometown with his wife, Megan, and their children.
