Jason Harrison is a Vice President with Hefren-Tillotson, Inc., a full-service brokerage firm offering comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory services for individuals, foundations, trusts and qualified retirement plans. Since joining the firm in 1998, Jason has partnered with Kim Tillotson Fleming, President of Hefren-Tillotson. As a fully licensed financial advisor and insurance agent, Jason helps their clients realize their financial goals, through estate, retirement, education and tax planning. Jason is also dedicated to providing the highest level of service to every client. Most recently, Jason was named among a select group of advisors to receive the FIVE STAR Wealth Manager Award as chosen by client feedback and published in the July issue of Pittsburgh Magazine. Prior to joining Hefren-Tillotson, Jason began his financial career with Mellon Bank’s broker-dealer, where he specialized in executive stock options for Pittsburgh based companies, such as Alcoa, Heinz and U.S. Steel. Jason is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance. Jason continues to support his Alma Mater through the West Virginia University School of Business mentoring program. Jason is active in several community and nonprofit organizations. He is a member of the Board of Directors and Finance Committee of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC); Vice Chair of the Board of Magee-Womens Research Institute and Foundation (a research facility dedicated to women’s and infants’ health issues) and current Chair of the Finance Committee; and a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). Jason’s community involvement also includes volunteering for St Kilian’s Parish and being a member of the United Way of Allegheny County’s Young Leaders Group. Jason with his wife Vanessa and two sons reside in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. |
