Tim Davis is Vice President and Director of the Trading and Municipal Bond Department for the full-service brokerage and investment firm of Hefren-Tillotson, Inc. Mr. Davis brings to Hefren-Tillotson his forty years of experience in the investment industry with a high concentration in Municipal Bonds, Government Bonds, Corporate Bonds, and Brokered Certificates of Deposit. As one of the most experienced Fixed Income Specialists in the Tri-State area, Tim Davis stands out as a tremendous resource for both the financial advisors and the clients of the Hefren-Tillotson. Tim works closely with H-T's Financial Advisors in creating Bond positions in existing portfolios and structuring new portfolios to include appropriate Bond positions for our clients. Tim also works closely with H-T Management in formulating an overall investment strategy for the firm in the Fixed Income arena. Prior to joining Hefren-Tillotson, Tim managed departments in Operations, Retail Municipal Sales, Institutional Municipal Sales, Municipal Bond Trading and Municipal Bond Underwriting and was directly responsible for a daily average inventory in excess of ten million dollars and sales in excess of several billion dollars a year. In the mid-eighties he was responsible for retail sales of Municipal Bonds in Pennsylvania for a major national financial institution and served on their national sales committee. Tim Davis is a graduate of the La Roche College Business School. He has served in every office of the Bond Club of Pittsburgh, including serving as a Governor after leaving the presidency. Tim is a member of the Western Pennsylvania Security Industry Association, the Pittsburgh Municipal Analysts Club, and the Financial Planning Association and The Pittsburgh Stock and Bond Club. Tim Davis was recently named as a Member of the NASD Dispute Resolution, Inc. Board of Arbitrators. He is also now a member of the Board of Directors of The Pittsburgh Glass Center. |
