Vice President Al Weber is a Vice President with Hefren-Tillotson, Inc., a privately held Pittsburgh-based firm offering comprehensive financial planning and investment management services for both individuals and qualified retirement plans. In working with his clients, Al utilizes Hefren-Tillotson's comprehensive Masterplan approach to help them achieve their goals in the areas of investments, retirement, tax and estate planning. Prior to joining Hefren-Tillotson, Al had 13 years of investment advisory experience at CooksonPeirce where he was a Vice President and shareholder. Al also had twenty plus years of experience in technical sales and marketing before joining CooksonPeirce. He started his industrial career as a Marketing Representative with Westinghouse and continued as an Account Manager with ASEA/ABB and later ALSTOM. Al is a 1976 graduate of Gannon University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and continues to further his education by attending estate and financial planning seminars. He is a noted speaker on the Psychology of Investing and a guest lecturer at Pennsylvania State University, New Kensington. Al is Chairman of the City of Lower Burrell Civil Service Commission and Vice President of the Advisory Board of Pennsylvania State University, New Kensington. He is also a member and past board representative of the Burrell Area Rotary Club and has served on the Parent Advisory Committee of the Burrell School District Al is a life-long resident of the Pittsburgh area and resides in Lower Burrell with his wife Kim. They have three grown children who are all employed as professionals. |
