Ms. Szakelyhidi brings to Hefren-Tillotson more than 25 years of human resources experience in the service and manufacturing industries within both non-union and union environments. She is experienced with start-ups, maturing, and transitioning organizations and has a proven record of creating and implementing human resource initiatives that resulted in cost savings, reduced turnover, and mitigation of risk.
Prior to joining the firm, Sherry was Human Resources Manager at LSG Sky Chefs. In addition, she has managed human resources at Taylor Milk Company and the Vista International Hotel.
Sherry is a graduate of Geneva College. She has an SPHR certification (Senior Professional Human Resources) and is a member of the Pittsburgh Human Resources Association and the Society of Human Resources Management.
