Lyric McCandless Schnur is a financial advisor with Hefren-Tillotson. She and her partner, Jim Beck, specialize in helping clients become and remain financially independent through traditional and fee-based relationships. Lyric truly enjoys working closely with her clients and remains focused on providing them with unparalleled service and on-going communication.
Mrs. Schnur joined the firm in May of 1999 as a Registered Financial Assistant. She is Series 7, 63 and 66 certified, and also holds a license in Life, Accident and Health insurance. During her tenure at Hefren-Tillotson, she has worked closely with both the branch compliance officer and branch manager and held the position of branch office manager. Lyric is currently in the process of becoming certified as a financial planner.
Prior to joining Hefren-Tillotson, Lyric was an operations analyst at PaineWebber’s headquarters in New Jersey, then transferred to their Pittsburgh office to be closer to her hometown of Butler, PA.
Mrs. Schnur holds a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University with a major in Business Administration. She is a Dale Carnegie graduate and also studied at the New York Institute of Finance.
In her free time, Lyric is an active member of the GFWC Jr. Women’s Club of Butler and the Jr. Miss Scholarship Program. Lyric and her husband, Curtis Schnur, a teacher and coach for the South Butler Schools, reside in Butler County with their children Mac and Faith.
