Craig McRoberts is a Senior Vice President with Hefren-Tillotson, Inc., a privately held Pittsburgh-based firm offering comprehensive financial planning and investment management services for both individuals and qualified retirement plans. In working with his clients, Craig utilizes Hefren-Tillotson's comprehensive Masterplan approach to help them achieve their goals in the areas of investments, retirement, tax and estate planning. Mr. McRoberts is also involved with Hefren-Tillotson Corporate Services which provides retirement plan consulting/management and executive counseling services.
Mr. McRoberts is a career Hefren-Tillotson employee since graduating from the Pennsylvania State University in 1992 with a B.S. in Finance and a minor in Spanish. While in University Park, Craig was a letterman and scholarship recipient on the varsity baseball team. Mr. McRoberts holds the Series 7, Series 65, and Series 8 securities licenses as well as his Life, Accident, and Health License. In 1997, Craig was instrumental in helping to open the firm's new South Hills office. Recently Craig earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Auditor (AIFA) designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies/University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business. In addition, he can be heard afternoons on KDKA Radio AM/1020 providing the closing stock quotes for Pittsburgh based companies.
Craig serves on the Board of Directors of the Jefferson Regional Medical Center (JRMC) where he sits on both the Investment and Finance Committees. He also helps organize JRMC's Annual Health Care Concern Golf Benefit which raises money for those unable to pay for their healthcare. In addition, Craig serves on the Board of Trustees for the Western Pennsylvania Division of The March of Dimes and helps each year in the WalkAmerica fundraiser.
In his spare time, Craig enjoys playing golf, downhill skiing, and relaxing with his family. He lives in Peters Township with his wife Lori and two children, Ella and Brady.
